At Shorefield Holidays, we like to do our bit for charity. Below, you can find out exactly what good deeds we've been up to!
Each year we select three main charities to support as we feel it is better to pledge support to a few and to select causes that really mean something to our company. For the past five years we have supported Children In Need because we are a family-run company offering holidays and leisure for families and children are at the crux of what we do. Our second charity is Oakhaven Hospice, a local Hospice that does a fabulous job in caring for the terminally ill in Lymington and which we have supported since it began.
New for this year is the Red and White Charity for Southampton Hospital, which is raising money to build a new day unit for patients with blood cancers. We also get asked for support from lots of local schools, clubs and care homes, which we do give raffle prizes to. Most Fridays we also do a staff dress up/down for one or other charity too. If you have a charity close to your heart and need a venue or support please contact us and we will consider each request.
